Blackberry, Honey, Chinese 5-Spice Smoothie

Adapted from Pen and Fork. Serves 2.


Ingredients

  1. Water, 237ml
  2. Frozen blackberries, 150g
  3. Frozen pineapple chunks, 150g
  4. Honey, 1tbsp
  5. Chinese 5-spice powder, 1tsp
  6. Sichuan peppercorns, 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients (following the order they are listed in, starting with the water) in a blender. 
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into cups and serve immediately
